Railey at Rippy’s

For Railey’s senior portraits, we shot around the center of Dripping Springs. The main location here, and one which has become almost legendary in local senior portrait circles, was Rippy’s Feed Store, a fabulously rustic building sitting on the town’s main street. This picture was taken shortly before sunset. Railey is backlit and I had her mom (thanks D’Ana!) hold a large gold reflector to bounce light back into her face.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/3.3
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Exposure bias: +3/6EV
  • Focal length: 200mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
