Robonauts “Illusion”

This beautiful piece of precision engineering is “Illusion”, the 2018 robot from famed team 118, the Robonauts, from Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) in League City, Texas. These guys are sponsored by NASA and have their team facilities in Johnson Space Center. You can definitely see the Mars rover influence in the absolutely beautiful design and construction of their machines! “Illusion” was part of the three-team alliance which took victory at this year’s Texas UIL State Robotics Championship in Austin on May 12th, 2018.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.8
