Strata at Tent Rocks

We spent today at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, hiking through slot canyons and up to the plateau above the main formations. What a fantastic place this is! The geology is fascinating and the slot canyon absolutely gorgeous. It’s not an easy climb but it’s very much worth the effort.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 145mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
