Ricciardo in the Rain

2015 was a near-disaster for the United States Grand Prix when tropical storm conditions hit the track on Friday and Saturday of race weekend. Things eventually cleared up for the race on Sunday but practice was distinctly damp and qualification had to be put off until the morning of the race itself. This image shows Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing during that delayed qualification when the rain still hadn’t quite cleared.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.3
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 600mm
  • ISO: 3200
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
