Despite yesterday’s inclement weather (it bucketed rain all day), we visited the popular Cade’s Cove area in the park. The weather was probably helpful in keeping the crowds down so the 11 mile, one way loop wasn’t too crowded. At the farthest point in the loop, we stopped at Cable Mill to wander around it and the other various 19th century buildings preserved there.
