I was disappointed to hear that Dick’s Classic Garage, a rather good car museum in San Marcos, closed last year. Here’s a shot I took there a few years back. This shows the grill of a LaSalle which, I learned, was a brand manufactured by GM’s Cadillac division between 1927 and 1940. From looking at pictures of their models, this is obviously one of their later vehicles, likely from 1939 or 1940.
