A year ago this week, I was shooting portraits of the members of North Hays County Fire Rescue for their 2019 calendar. The visits to the fire station in Dripping Springs and a couple of training sessions were pretty definitely the most photographic fun I had last year (despite getting soaked by shooting with a 14mm lens right next to a hose on one evening).
