Curtiss Canuck Instruments

Dials in the cockpit of the Curtiss Canuck biplane at the Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury, Texas. I didn’t notice while I was taking the picture but now that I look closely, I’m surprised that the large dial on the right seems to have no indication of what it is for. Airspeed in 10s of miles per hour? Altitude in 100s of feet?

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 250mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 3s
