Triplane Tail

We’re back at the Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury today with this detail of the tail of their World War 1 era Fokker Dr. I Triplane. The Fokker Triplane is probably the most famous of the fighter aircraft from this era due to its association with the Red Baron,  Manfred von Richthofen. This particular aircraft is a replica built at Kingsbury and first flown in 2008.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/22
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 230mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 1s
