Podium Crowd, 2017 USGP

My search through my collection of unedited photos took me to the 2017 United States Grand Prix folder this weekend so I’ll be posting some of the images I found there over the next few days.

Formula 1 weekend at Circuit of the Americas is a fantastic experience. In addition to great on-track action, the atmosphere generated by 120,000 international fans is absolutely electric and the feeling of camaraderie, regardless of team following, is so much fun. Today’s picture was taken on the track following the race as fans gathered for the podium ceremony.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 17mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
