Getting a bit closer today, here’s another Flame Skimmer dragonfly (Libellula saturata) I saw at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center last Saturday. These pictures were taken handheld with a 40-150mm lens mounted in front of an extension tube allowing me to focus from about one to two feet away from the insects when zoomed all the way in.
