Another image of the famous Balanced Rock in Big Bend National Park in west Texas. This was taken shortly after sunrise after a pre-dawn hike up to the location. The trail to the rock is only about a mile long and 3/4 of it is pretty flat before you hit the final quarter mile of rock scrambling to get up to the ridge where the main attraction can be found.
