A record 105,213 people packed into Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin last Saturday for the football game between the University of Texas Longhorns and first ranked University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama won by a single point with a field goal in the final seconds of play but the Longhorns did a very much better job than most people expected against the stiff competition leaving folks optimistic for a good season.
