Industry on 2nd

For some reason, I haven’t typically produced black and white versions of my drone images. This shot, however, cried out for the treatment due to the fantastic shapes and textures of the steel fabricator’s yard in the foreground. The picture was taken back in December 2023 from a position between 2nd Street and the railway on the west side of downtown Austin.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/1.7
  • Camera: FC3582
  • Exposure bias: -1.3EV
  • Focal length: 6.72mm
  • ISO: 140
  • Shutter speed: 1/4000s
