Osprey

While waiting for last week’s aborted Delta IV Heavy launch, I pointed a camera at various birds that were flying around Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Here’s one of two osprey (Pandion haliaetus) that were in the area. Both appeared to have nests built at the top of light poles along Titan III Road.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/13
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 800mm
  • ISO: 640
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
