Backlit Cholla

As usual when I’m up in New Mexico, I took a camera along on my evening walk yesterday and grabbed a few local scenes. High desert flora is fascinating and these cholla cactii look great when backlit by the setting sun.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.3
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 400mm
  • ISO: 500
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
