Day one of our trip got off to a flying start with a whistle-stop tour of some of Buenos Aires’ main sights. It turned out to be a great way to spend a chunk of our 19 hour layover before the next leg of the journey to Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. One of the locations we visited was the El Ateneo book store which is to be found inside a renovated theater. The stage is now the store coffee shop and box seats have been converted into private reading areas.
