Apparently yesterday was Penguin Awareness Day and I missed an opportunity to post one of the many penguin pictures I have lined up. I’ll make good today with this picture of a Southern Rockhopper (Eudyptes chrysocome) seen at New Island, one of the Falkland Islands, on December 19th, 2024. While discussing pictures with Drew, we decided that “grumpy football” was a pretty good description.
