Woohoo! It’s World Penguin Day and this Adélie certainly seems excited about it. Adélie’s (Pygoscelis adeliae) only live on and in the immediate vicinity of the Antarctic continent and we spied this one, with two chicks who refused to turn around and show their faces, on Petermann Island just off the Antarctic peninsula, on December 31st, 2024.
