Lone Adélie

I’m working on my upcoming presentation for Hill Country Photography Club so am in the mood to post a few more of the shots I took during last December’s amazing expedition to Antarctica. Here’s a lone Adélie penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae) seen standing on an iceberg in Salpêtrière Bay on December 31st last year.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Exposure bias: +1/2EV
  • Focal length: 120mm
  • ISO: 640
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
