Sergio Perez, this year driving for Sahara Force India, is a pretty huge crowd puller at the Austin Grand Prix. Formula 1 has a large following in Mexico and the US Grand Prix offers a venue with relatively easy access for thousands eager to see their own drivers compete. Next year, with a Grand Prix slated for Mexico itself, it will be interesting to see whether the attendance at Circuit of the Americas drops markedly.
