I spent yesterday at the New Mexico State Marching Band Contest in Rio Rancho with the Santa Fe High School Demon Pride Band. They performed beautifully but, as a small band from a large school in a competition graded by school size, didn’t make it to finals. They did, however, have a day to be proud of and showed fabulous improvement compared with their performances last year. Here are a few of the frames that jumped out at me as I started editing pictures this morning.
