Iceberg A76b

This was the first large iceberg we saw on the trip during our passage between the Falkland Islands and South Georgia on December 22nd, 2024. A76b is the second largest fragment of the original A76 iceberg which calved from the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf in the Weddell Sea in May 2021.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.5
