South Georgia Ice

Continuing the iceberg theme, here’s another spectacular berg seen as we exited Cooper Bay in South Georgia on Christmas Day last year. This also marks a first for me – the first time I’ve processed and exported an image for use on this photoblog without realizing it was taken on my phone! The HEIC image format (I wasn’t even using raw that day!) generated by my iPhone 16 Pro really is pretty impressive since I didn’t hold back on processing in Lightroom and the result looks great to me.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: iPhone 16 Pro
  • Focal length: 15.659999847383mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 1/2400s
