The last time I covered World Endurance Championship from trackside was back in 2017 so I’m very much looking forward to photographing this year’s “Lone Star Le Mans” action during the first weekend in September. Here’s an image taken during one of the practice sessions on September 15th, 2017. Toyota Gazoo Racing’s number 8 LMP1 car, driven by the three driver team of Kazuki Nakajima, Sébastien Buemi and Stéphane Sarrazin, is seen passing Circuit of the America’s iconic tower. This team went on to finish in 3rd place at the end of Sunday’s 6 hour race.
