The light up in the high desert of New Mexico is absolutely magical. During a sunset walk yesterday evening (the storms I posted yesterday ended up avoiding us), with a gloriously vibrant eastern sky drawing most of the attention, I pointed my camera west where the colors of the penumbra offered this very different and beautifully subtle scene.
