Orne Islands, Antarctica

Our last day at the Antarctic Peninsula, January 1st, 2025, was drizzly and damp. We spent it at the Orne Islands which are home to some large penguin colonies and spectacular views of these mountains on the mainland. M.V. Hondius is seen anchored offshore.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 34mm
  • ISO: 400
