The new home for Austin’s Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center sits on the shore of Lady Bird Lake in the Rainey Street neighbourhood. The building opened in June 2026 and hosts exhibitions, classes and performances celebrating and promoting Mexican American and Latino culture.
