I had the distinct pleasure to shoot at the Thirsty Planet brewery yesterday evening so here’s the first picture from that trip. I’ll publish several more over the next couple of weeks.
Thirsty Planet is my local brewery, being only 4 miles from home (we live in the stix so this is local, honestly) and has been open a couple of years. They have three regular brands, “Thirsty Goat Amber”, “Buckethead IPA” and “Yellow Armadillo” wheat beer, and a collection of specials including, for example, the recently introduced “Silverback IPA” brewed in honour of the Austin Gorilla Run. This shot shows a batch of “Yellow Armadillo” flowing through the chiller on the way into the fermentation vat.
Their beer is sold in various pubs around Austin including some of my favourites – the Draught House and the new Barbershop Pub in Dripping Springs.

I was curious what that was, but to find out it was beer related was a real treat!
