This was another picture taken in Taiwan but, given the abstract nature of the image, the location isn’t really important.
During my visit, my host took me on a trip round the north coast of the island and one of the stops was at the visitor centre for one of the country’s nuclear power stations. This would have been fascinating had I read any Chinese (none of the signs had any English, as you would expect) but, given that I didn’t, I enjoyed looking at the display graphics and trying to figure out what they were telling me.
On leaving, we stopped for a few minutes at this enormous turbine which had been installed outside the building. It was somewhere around 12 to 15 feet in diameter and was previously used in one of the plant’s low pressure steam generators.
