Saturn V, Houston, Texas

The Saturn V, America’s moon rocket, stands 363ft tall and weighs a whopping 6.7 million pounds. Its first stage engines packed 7.6 million pounds of thrust and its three stages could deliver 100,000lbs of payload into lunar orbit.

This Saturn V can be found at the Rocket Part of Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. I had the pleasure of spending the weekend there with 100 Cub Scouts, camping inside the visitor center and the trip to see the rockets was probably the highlight of an excellent weekend.
