Paris Lights, Las Vegas

I love Las Vegas in a kind of “kid in the toy store before Christmas” kind of way. Everything is so big and shiny! Amongst the big shininess, the Paris hotel shines very brightly with its third scale Eiffel Tower, fountains, Montgolfier balloon and other things French. I spent quite some time there during my recent trip and got several images that I really enjoy.

This one is a combination of three exposured blended with Photomatix exposure fusion. The original center exposure was pretty good but the highlights from each of the little lights in the “Paris” sign all merged together. In this version, the detail of each light is still visible.
