Texas State History Museum, Austin

I spent a couple of hours last Sunday morning wandering around the Texas State Capitol, the Texas State History Museum and the Blanton Museum of Art. The weather was absolutely perfect for HDRs – clear but with just enough high cirrus clouds to offer great sky texture. This is a shot I had been meaning to take for a while so I was delighted that the weather played nicely. The 20ft tall Lone Star outside the Texas State Hustory Museum makes a great frame for the building at 10mm.
