Blue Alliance, FRC New York

I’ve done a first-pass edit on my pictures from the FIRST Robotics Competition, New York City Regional so wanted to post something from the event today. I’ll hopefully get the picks all uploaded to SmugMug tonight.

This shot shows the blue alliance driver stations during one of the qualification matches on Saturday in which teams 810, 2809 and 694 had to guide their robots around the field to pick up large, inflatable logo pieces and assemble them on pegs at varying heights, scoring points for each piece placed.

Regional competitions are happening all over the country just now so, if you are near one, head on over and take a look – you’ll be hooked immediately, I’m sure!
