Mirage, Las Vegas (IR)

I was having some fun with a borrowed infra-red-converted Canon G9 one morning early last year in Las Vegas. This shot is the result of some serious tweaking in Photoshop after discussing how to handle colour IR conversion with friend and IR expert Pete Talke. The secret is swapping the channels, it seems.

Great photo! I’ve never been to Vegas. It’s on the list.

David, Vegas is a superb location but beware of the tripod police since they are rather vigilant there from my experience.

Thanks, Troy. I wouldn’t expect nighttime IR to look quite like this since this is a daytime shot.
