Columns, Palmer Event Center

I’m delving back into the archives again today for this shot of the concrete columns at Austin’s Palmer Event Center.

This was taken during last year’s World Wide Photo Walk, an event organised by Scott Kelby in which many thousand photographers gather on a particular day in many hundred cities for a couple of hours of photography and socialisation. I’ve taken part in the last two and they have been great fun – I’ve met some great people and taken a few decent images.

If you’ve not taken part in WWPW before, I would encourage you to look into it this year. Walks will be held on either October 1st or 2nd depending upon your location. Keep an eye on the WWPW web site for more details and sign-up information.
