Bull and Rider, Rodeo Austin




Continuing the rodeo theme, here’s another shot from Austin Rodeo back in March.

From a photography point of view, bull riding was one of the easier competitions to shoot since the action tends to stay in a pretty confined area close to the gates at one end of the arena. The bulls spin around, however, so getting a clear shot including the rider’s face can be tricky.
