One of the most difficult thing when shooting in Yosemite is trying to find something different to shoot. I’m not sure I’ve succeeded but I have been trying to find things other than the classic views to take pictures of and this is one example.
The waterfalls here cascade up to 6000 feet and the stream often becomes little more than a high speed mist by the time the water reaches ground level. This create wonderful views of hard rocks and soft water and I used a long lens to try to capture this here.
This is gorgeous, Dave! Brilliant shot.
