I’m having a busy time photographically this week. This is Austin Fashion Week and last night I was asked to shoot a runway show at the Driskill Hotel for TravelHost magazine. Standing on the risers at the end of the catwalk and jostling for position with all the other photographers and video folks, several of whom had claimed spots hours in advance by setting up empty tripods, was amusing!
I have yet to finish going through the pictures I shot but here’s one I liked from the collection of Isabella Rose Fashion. It shows 13 year old Austin model Hanna Lashay. It turns out that the designer, Isabella Rose Taylor, is actually one of the models and only 10 years old!
During the event, I handed out a stack of business cards to various models’ mothers who were interested in seeing the pictures. I’m working my way through the pictures but have completed editing the shots from the Isabella Rose show and you can find these here.
