Side Chapel, Grace Cathedral

A multi-image HDR vertorama showing one of the side chapels in Grace Cathedral, San Francisco.

This was a tricky image to process since it was taken with an ultra-wide lens and I cut corners, shooting only 3 panels with about 30% overlap. As a result, the merged panorama had loads of distortion and I had to do a fair bit of warping to get it into the final state.

From my experience, the wider the lens you use when shooting panos, the larger the overlap you need to ensure precise stitching and minimum distortion.
