Kayak on the Charles River

I’m up in Boston at the Design East Embedded Systems Conference just now where I’m presenting later this morning.

Rather than fly in at the last minute, though, I came up on Saturday and spent a fabulous evening shooting the city with Bob Lussier and Rich Williams, two thoroughly hospitable guys whose photos I wish I could emulate. We spent most of our time, hanging around the Charles River waiting for sunset so that we could shoot the skyline at blue hour. The others have posted some of their skyline pictures already (here and here) but I’m working from a laptop without the software I need to process mine so here’s a totally different image shot slightly earlier in the evening.
