Prudential Center from Back Bay

This shot of the Prudential Center in Boston is a great example of the power of hanging around. Bob Lussier, Rich WIlliams and I spent about 90 minutes on the north bank of the Charles River as the sun set. During those 90 minutes, the light was, obviously, changing dramatically but there were probably only 10 minutes during which the background light levels matched the artificiall light from the buildings closely enough to get what looks like a daylight shot (with a clear blue sky) and brightly lit towers. Had we not spent the time to wait for the right light, the results would have been just another postcard snap of the scene.
