I spent some time on Friday evening soaking up yet another excellent community event in Dripping Springs, namely the High School football game. Pretty much everyone from the town shows up, everyone has fun and the atmosphere is something special. Although I love shooting in Texas Memorial Stadium for UT games, there really is something very special about a local, home town football game that doesn’t translate to the bigger venue.
This year, I’ve volunteered as a photographer for the band (you’re surprised?) so spent most of my time with the lens pointed away from the field. This is one of my favourite shots from the evening so far. You can’t go wrong with a tuba in the shot, as far as I’m concerned.
