The icy arctic blast arrived in Austin over the weekend. Saturday was a beautiful day with high temperatures in the upper 60s but Sunday was distinctly chilly with highs only reaching the mid 50s. This is balmy for some of you northerners but, given that it was in the high 90s only 2 days before, it’s quite a change.
In case you are already hankering for the return of summer (which, frankly, I’m not if by “summer” you mean Austin summer weather), here’s a nice, warm sunset shot taken in Hawaii back in July. Now that was my type of summer climate!
