Heading for a Touchdown

The Vandergrift Vipers beat the Dripping Springs Tigers by 31 points to 21 last Friday. This play ended just shy of the end zone but I’m pretty sure that the next down added 6 of those 31 points.

Shooting high school football at night is not an easy task – I’ll never complain about the floodlighting in Texas Memorial Stadium again. On the few occasions I turned my lens towards the game on Friday night, I was disappointed to discover that it was impossible to get anything over 1/500 second shutter speed even at f/2.8 and the highest usable ISO setting on the D700.
