The Orange Zone

Signs at the main entrance on the north end of Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin declare that this is the “Red McCombs Red Zone” but it looks a whole lot more like an Orange Zone to me.

This was shot during last Saturday’s World Wide Photo Walk using my wonderful Sigma 15mm fisheye lens. The front of the Longhorn logo is probably about a foot from my camera. One of the problems I have shooting with this lens, especially when using a tripod, is making sure that elements immediately underneath the camera (feet, tripod legs, etc) don’t encroach on the frame!
