New York by Gehry

If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a bit of a Frank Gehry groupie so I was delighted to get a chance to see another of his buildings in New York recently.

The somewhat prosaically titled “New York by Gehry” can be found in lower Manhattan near City Hall Park and is easily recognised as a Frank Gehry design thanks to his trademark “folded metal” facade look.

During our brief visit, the weather was dull and slightly drizzly so I only managed to grab a few snaps as we walked past but I could spend hours shooting the exterior of this building – there are so many fascinating shapes and angles to capture!
