Iron Arches, Boston

The Longfellow Bridge crosses the Charles River in Boston’s Back Bay neighbourhood. I was drawn to the repeating pattern of the arched supports and the great, grungy texture of their weathering.

Dave, your eye is awfully good at catching these types of shots – very well done!

Nice image, Dave. I really like the texture with the monochrome treatment.

Thanks, all! Scott, I loved the arches and the compression of the long lens helped to pull the pattern together.
