During Enrique Iglesias’ show at the “COTA Club” (Austin Convention Center transformed into a night club for Formula 1 weekend), I found myself rather boxed in thanks to all the photographers being confined to an area a third of the width of the stage and an influx of video-shooting students. As a result, I’m not particularly happy with many of the shots I got and I had to shoot a lot tighter than I would have liked most of the time as I poked my lens through small holes in the throng of arms and cameras.
Occasionally, though, when the main action was elsewhere and directing my camera there was absolutely pointless, I turned my attention to the band. On the whole, they were unlit but the background was often interesting and I managed to grab a few interesting silhouettes like this one.
