Kimi Räikkönen's Lotus




For my un-Finnish friends, here’s Kimi Räikkönen’s Lotus at turn 11 of Circuit of the Americas. I spent a fair bit of time there during Friday and Saturday but, although the view is good and you can see over the fences, the cars are traveling so slowly (relatively speaking) through the hairpin bend that it’s really difficult to get decent wheel movement and background streaking.

On the plus side, the narrowing of the track allows you to use the red and white edge markers as interesting framing elements..
